OVERVIEW

EAGLE HILL EQUINE RESCUE (EHER) is one of the largest horse rescues on the East Coast. We are an IRS approved all Volunteer NON-PROFIT Organization. We regularly have over 90 horses available for adoption. EHER specializes in young horses, many are just turning 3 and ready to begin their saddle training. We also have Nurse Mare Foals, weanling, yearlings and two year olds as well as a few young mares rescued from PMU farms, those given to us by their former owners and of course horses sent to us by local Animal Control due to seizure. We are a full care facility situated on 40 rolling acres outside of Fredericksburg, only 11 miles off I-95, with an additional 27 acres for training.
